Description: Bidjar rugs are made by Kurds in western Iran, which is to say that the contention since the Allied victors of WWI drew the borders of the Middle East is literally woven into their rugs. This rug is hand knotted and intricate. It features a hexagonal medallion in the center and many precise floral details. The rug is predominantly red with gold, black, tan, peach, navy, and red detailing. It has a medium length fringe and the pile is tight making this rug particularly hardy.
