This rug is a hand knotted and regal. It is predominantly red with repeating medallions throughout the center, each with four quadrants. Turkoman rugs were originally woven by nomadic tribes in Central Asia and now production is predominantly in Pakistan and Iraq where the traditional techniques are preserved. It is a red rug featuring off-white, coral, burgundy, and deep brown detailing. It has nice tribal motifs and a long fringe on both ends.
