Description: Oushak is a region in Western Turkey renowned for centuries for their sturdy, woolen, hand knotted rugs. This rug is predominantly a muted red with lots of gorgeous gold detailing. It also features black and ivory for contrast and it has a large medallion that is floral-esque while maintaining a geometric feel. It is largely “empty” around the medallion causing the rug’s design to not feel busy until the corner details. The rug is ornate and regal and has a short fringe.
